To all the other Chrome users around here, I want to know which channel you are using (Stable, Beta or Dev). Vote in the poll, and if you feel like it, comment with why you're using the channel you're on.
On my home computer (Windows 7), I'm on the Dev channel. I'm not a developer, I just like to try the new features straight away. I'm considering switching to just the Beta channel though, as lately it's started to freeze up, in particular, on the odd occasion when starting a Java app, and sometimes when I click on a link on Facebook. The last time it did that, it was that bad I could only get rid of it by doing a hard reset. I'm going to see if the Beta channel is any better, and maybe stick with that. At work however (Windows XP), it doesn't seem to work as well, so I've stuck with the Stable channel. But I might switch up to the Beta channel soon (the Dev channel crashes too much on this computer, and the extension gallery does not work at all). P.S. if you want to switch channels, or also get the Canary build (the absolute bleeding edge channel that runs alongside your existing installation and cannot be set as default browser), the link to all the channels is here: http://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel Cheers! ![]() Mitch. |

RE: Google Chrome users: Which channel are you on?
The Stable channel works for me because I don't really use Google Chrome at all. I have Firefox to manage my online life for me (I'm using their Beta now lol), so trying new things out on Chrome's Dev channel wouldn't work for me.
(I don't even know why I installed Chrome in the first place lol.) |

Been using the dev channel although I think it might be partly responsible for Zuma Blitz locking up no and then, usually when I've just got a high score.
