Best dedicated server provider?

As in the title, please give your opinions on the best dedicated server provider? My brother is looking at getting one and I said I'd look into it.

I like eSecureData... Their primary dedicated server plans give you a server with the OS installed and just enough setup that you can log in via SSH - ANYTHING else you want on it - Apache, mySQL, PHP, control panels - that's entirely in your hands.

For $40 more a month, you can have cPanel.

Which with their base price of a dual core atom server with 2 gigs of RAM and a 500 gig hard drive being $59/mo ($99/mo with cPanel) they've got pretty aggressive pricing.

Been with them for about four years now - never had any major issues that weren't resolved quickly.

I would have to recommend JoesDatacenter.com

They're a company that I've followed since they started from scratch, using colocation in another major datacenter, moving to their own datacenter, and now expanded with 2 facilities. I've rented around 3 servers from them and honestly, I have not received one problem from them - When they first started, Joe would travel across city just to reboot my server but since they've expanded they obviously have more staff members now.

They can offer you a free license of DirectAdmin, or you can purchase cPanel for $34 monthly. They offer basically everything you would want from a dedicated server provider.
