In theory yes, in practice - it depends on where the script to load it is placed in the markup. Quite often the rendering of CSS is hung until the HTML element it's applied to has completely loaded - firefox is the 'worst' for this and it's one of the 'placebo' effects they use to make pageloads FEEL faster than they actually ARE. Because of that if the script is executing the twitter contact inline instead of waiting until onload (or at least waiting until right before </body> is closed) the rendering of the entire rest of the page will 'hang' until the script finishes.

You might be able to alleviate that by moving the static blogger.js script up into <head> - though you might just have to live with 30 second page loads if you really want that script. (which is why I personally wont run those types of scripts on my sites)

Much better color wise - but the but the text under the logo is hard to read because of the outer glow.

I do think wordpress is one of the best and securied blog script. So why your blog hacked?
