Is wordpress technically a CMS
I know a few friends have been having a dispute over whether Wordpress is a CMS, I was wondering what everyone else thinks?

Even if it's used what it's intended to be used for - blogging - it's still a system for managing the content of a blog. For this reason, I have voted yes. |

RE: Is wordpress technically a CMS
Yes, I'd say so. The amount of plugins and features that Wordpress has and will continue to come mean that it is a CMS. It's been considered a content management system anyway and new websites even static ones are using the software because it doesn't require multiple page templates through use of the database.
