I think Spotify could be bought by one of the big boys, iTunes, to stop it taking over iTunes. I wonder if it has been patented "the idea" that it streams music for free with ads or paying to remove ads. That way Apple could buy it (would cost an absolute fortune) and dispand it for iTunes revenue. Then again, that would be a waste of buying Spotify in the first place. I guess it won't take over everyone's iTunes.

I always turn the sound down when the ads play and don't even listen.

I found that if you turn down the sound in windows or on the spotify sound bar then it pauses the ads. Aren't they sneaky!

I hope not hehe. I like the idea that you can download for free!. I think Apple should jump onboard or buy out spotify as if this could be intergrated into iTunes I would be sooo happy

it usally takes 2 weeks, but it's been like 4 now lol.

anyways, I doubt apple with reject cause it'll just bring even more issues on their hands(google voice got rejected as well, and now they got some people watching every move they make lol)

is spotify a itunes killer? no, not here at least, iTunes and the large music resellers here in norway increased their sales with almost 10% after spotify became mainstream.

btw that, Paperboys, a norwegian rap group sold to double platina here in norway, a lot thank to spotify and iTunes

I personally wouldn't infect my system by installing iTunes anyway. If I was thinking about actually buying music online I'd look at one of the others first such as Napster, Amazon or similar.
