right now avast, though it's annoying (and no it dosen't update daily, it checks for updates daily, that's a whole different thing)

I'm running Avira AntiVir right now, and it's working out great!

Best AV that i use and recommend to all is Avast. It has picked up viruses that have been on USBs and have stopped them spreading to my laptop & PC. I use it on all PCs at home, and i put it on all computers that i build. It prevents many viruses and is the best one around, that i have used.

+ 1 for Avast.

I run Avast also.

I use Avast on my Windows install and usually install it on the windows computers that I fix for people after they screw them up or their bundled mcafee 3 months subscription expired 12 months ago.

I've just stuck with AVG free and I've had no problems what so ever.

cant say i have a favourite. i try different ones out all the time. first one i got was norton, then after the subscription ran out i switched to AVG and gave it a try, picked up about 10 viruses straight away that norton missed, then changed to avast, and it got a few more straight away, stuck with that for a while then recently switched to comodo (seeing as i was already using their firewall anyway) but it was terrible, wouldnt update. switched to panda cloud which wasnt too bad, but froze the computer every now and then. tried the avast 5 beta, but had issues with updating. so now im with avira and its been pretty good, think i'll stick with it for a while.

NOD32 rapes virus buhhole. It's scanning may be slow, but frequent, timeless updates help a bunch. No virus detected yet. I've been running it for about a year now.

Right now I'm using AVG.

Just wondering(I'm a real dummy when it comes to some of this stuff).
Is it OK to have AVG + mbam + Spybot Search & Destroy, I know that its not ok to have AVG + Avast, or Avast + McAfee. Just wondering.
